
Adding a shared mailbox in Outlook Web Access (OWA) allows multiple users to manage emails sent to a common email address. If your organization has granted you access to a shared mailbox, you can add it to OWA using Google Chrome or any other web browser by following these simple steps.
A shared mailbox allows multiple users to send and receive emails from the same email address (e.g., support@yourcompany.com). It’s a great tool for teams handling shared responsibilities like customer support or sales.
Once added, the shared mailbox will appear in your folder list on the left side. Click on the shared mailbox to access its inbox, sent items, and folders.

If the mailbox does not appear, try refreshing Chrome or signing out and back into OWA.
You must be granted access by your Microsoft 365 administrator before adding the shared mailbox.
Shared mailboxes do not require separate login credentials — your own Microsoft 365 account provides access.
